Default Boat suggestion? Opening a can of worms, I know..

Looking for some suggestions on a boat. I currently have a g3 1860 ccj, river boat. Since I will not be on the river camping anymore I will be trading it in on a lake boat.
What I'm looking for is most likely going to be in the 16 foot range due to the fact that the biggest motor I can get is a 20hp due to lake restrictions. It would be for both bass fishing and spider rigging for only myself.

I keep looking at the g3 1610 sportsman but I was wondering if there was a brand that you like that I might have forgot about?

If you are buying new, I would think about the g3 1610 and trade in the older g3 you have. May get a slightly better deal from a dealer that can turn your used boat quicker. G3 makes a dandy boat!

What’s the specs on your ccj 1860. How much are you looking to get for it?

Yeah so therein lies the problem. I have no idea how much its worth and would most likely have to rely on my dealer to give me a accurate value of the boat (bad idea? not sure) as the boat itself is "enhanced" for the shallow rocky rivers that we have here in central PA. For instance a 1/4 inch spray on protective coating on the bottom and halfway up the sides. A kicker bracket along side the 90/65 jet that holds an electric start 9.9 both 2015 yamaha's, 112 terrova, electric anchor, 2 lowrance hds 9's.. i dont even understand how to put value on that type of stuff.

Go to boat.com and check out their boat pricing guide. They have a link to the NADA guide. At least it’s a start. You can search online for prices of your accessories to get an idea of what the stuff would cost new. Then depreciate using your own judgment. I’m sure you trust your dealer, but I’ve never been a fan of letting the buyer price my stuff.

Nada Guide is a start but searching your area will give you more a more accurate figure as boat prices vary a lot with location. And Nada is notoriously low. At least it use to be. I don't know if it still is.
