Add it to your arsenal and still do what you enjoy now. Just cause you see em on screen doesn’t mean they’ll bite but it is fun for sure.
So I love to crappie fish. I’ve heard a lot about this live seen a lot of videos. But I told myself I did not want to buy live scope because I enjoy spider, rigging , long lining and pulling crank bait. so I went out with a friend of mine that just bought it man was this easy we fished one pole each we had one tackle tray of grandpa‘s hair Jigs and caught a lot of crappie in six or 7 feet of water with 81° water temperature never in my mind, but I have thought they would be that shallow. I can see where this can save a fisherman a whole lot of money no need for Rod holders, planer boards, all these different kinds of jig heads was spinners or without and all these plastics that they have out today. I think you would probably only need, one or two tackle trays if they don’t hit what you put in front of their face I think you just move onto the next fish. Hope you all have a blessed day. Just wanted to share my opinion on the live scope. I think I’m going to have to start pricing everything and change my way of fishing.

I just fish that way without Livescope all the time. I do use 2 jig poles at one time on The Rez, one in each hand but around the house just one. Single Poling has a Zen to it. You're focusing all your attention on what the one pole & line is telling you. Visually as well as feeling the Rod's feedback, not allowing the problems of the day to enter breaking concentration and your focus, just you, your presentation, and of course the fish. Zen. Livescope lets you know there is a fish there, I kinda know without it.

“So I hear” Livescope is the lost highway. Leading innocent folks to ruination. Take you to a life of crime, misery, and the loss of your eternal everlasting immortal soul. I even heard it made the neighbors cow’s milk dry up!
Just kidding, I bought into it, but found out that I’m too lazy. Takes concentration and effort. I go fishing to relax, forget my problems. Put my lines in, kick back and listen to my music, smoke, and drink my coffee pop or beer according to time of day. And eat junk food. And I still catch a cooking or three of fish just about every time.
If I’d had it in my twenties or thirties, I’d have been all over it!
Now, it’s just another something to maybe get around to some day

LS is no silver bullet on the crappie werewolf , it is a tool that often makes it easier on them that know how to use it well .
that said I saw a new $1000 greenback poor mans version came out recently ......
prolly not for me unless I ran it on the hood of my truck
or on a cane pole from the bank
I ran a boat for a few years , it was fun , but it complicated ketchn and was somewhat time consuming and a money pit too
and like my wife said when I almost bought another one .....why ? do you need a boat ?
you don't need a boat to ketch crappie .....
I think in this case, it is the one time she was actually right about something ....
I’ll sometimes fish with one or two pole when holding to structure, many times spider rig in open water, and am currently pulling crankbaits in open water. I use my Livescope to add to the information that I get from 2D, DI, SI, and 360 to narrow down where to fish and bait presentation, although I don’t consider it the tool that eliminates all other forms of sonar—they all have their place.
If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez"jim8861 LIKED above post
I use LS out front of the boat when spider-rigging to see if I have my baits the right depth over the fish before I get to them. Still pull cranks in hot weather and dock shoot some too. Just another tool to help me.
