Sounds like a good trip! Please elaborate on smoking your fish? I've done king salmon an halibut in the smoker, the salmon wasn't bad cause the natural fat / oil in it. The halibut dried out pretty good. Always looking for an alternative to frying, although my preferred method with crappie, bream and catfish.
