Awesome trip and good pics. Thanks for sharing your travels and adventures with us.
Little picture story I thought I'd share. You may have seen a pic or two I already post ion the Billbob thread, but I thought I'd put it all together.
Wifey and I went to St Augustine FL again. It's a cool place. Only 2 hours from the house. Anastasia state park is a very nice park. Great beach, and cool wildlife.
Gopher Tortoise all over the place. Just don't run them over.
We went to a couple fishing piers. Very nice ones. This is a pic of the free one at Vilano Beach Pier. There's a Publix right next to it that sells frozen bait shrimp. I bought some of the frozen stuff, and some cooked chilled cocktail shrimp too with cocktail sauce and we have some to eat and fish with while we waited for the bait shrimp to thaw. lol
Real nice pier, and friendly folks as well. Caught some Spade Fish, they fought lie heck.
We also went to St Johns County Fishing Pier. Super windy there. Could not even get the bait to the water.
We ate at the Sunset Grill. Great food. I had trigger fish. Really nice texture, and flavor. I liked it. The texture was a little thicker, I want to say tougher, but really not. Just more substantial. I really liked it.
We went on a pirate cruise. Thank goodness they sold adult refreshments cause it was a show that was primarily directed towards kids, and we had none there! lol It was still fun, met some nice folks, told them about Crappie.com. It's so cool wearing crappie.com gear and sharing with folks our great website. Makes kinda a great ice breaker. Make sure to wear your CDC gear and represent out family friendly site, make some friends for sure.
Here's my new tolling boat, prolly gets less than 5 gallons per mile! doh
Dern pirates took our loot! was fun, have to bring the grandkids there, they'll have fun for sure. They had kiddie prizes and such.
Thanks for listening. Just thought I'd share. Hope I didn't bore y'all too much.

We go to St A once or twice a year. We had Lunch at the Sunset Grill last year, it was real good. We like Salt life too. Not a tourist place but we like O'Steens for Shrimp.
Looks like a great trip for sure. Thank you for the ride along. I'm sure the Grand kids will enjoy the Great Pirate Adventure...

That boat with all the motors is a piece of junk, no trolling motor. Glad y’all had a good time.

Sounds like a great trip. Been a bit since I have eaten trigger fish. Mighty fine eats and absolutely a blast to catch
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Looks like a well rounded vacation. BB is now a bonafide pirate. Thanks for taking us along.![]()
