I was surprised to say the least , I never play nice with crappie and just go about getting them OUT of the water the fastest way possible , some of my friends can tell you it is quite possible to get fish slapped if you are anywhere near me ....
so nope it wasnt a gentle thing for sure and when it came up after the fight under the pontoon boat , it went to the big air and in to my waiting hand right quick like ....
can't get to 43 in an hour and get images too ,,,,, fooling around with gentle for sure ....

sure was a FINE line on that fishee , I strained to see how on earth the hook was still attached , amazed me for sure and as stated by others here , hooks that are super sharp matter .....no matter the size of the hook ...
