Default Post Spawn open water crappie

Going to try my luck on open water crappie fishing next week. Do you think their on structure or just suspended in deep water.

The reservoir is Dale Hollow so its very deep and has very little cover. Not sure where to even start but I do have livescope and plan on trying that. Just need to figure out where to start looking as to water depth?

    Thanks for any advice, Steve

If it was me I would pull cranks or longline jigs. Working my way from ledges to deeper water keeping the baits away from the boat cause if I remember correctly the water is relatively clear. Keep all your options open though using all methods until you get on the fish. Best of luck!

Have found them laid up under really quiet docks with no activity. Seem to be there recuperating

Look for baitfish and concentrate pulling crankbaits or jigs around or just above that depth. They'll let you know which color works best.
