    Hey fellows don’t know what you got in your boat for safety but I just built this boat ladder for mine, I tried it out before posting, i weight about 200 lbs so I know it will hold myself.     They do work but are very hard to use . When you step on it in open water it will kick under boat making it very hard to climb.

    I climbed up this ladder 3 or 4 times and yes it’s difficult, but it better than you or your partner drowning or a friend in a boat close to you. It can be done.

    This is what I have on mine. It is tied up with small bungee cords. Name: IMG_4750.jpg Views: 229 Size: 42.4 KBI just don’t know if my big butt can swim fast enough to catch my boat if I go overboard while pulling cranks!

    It never hurts to be aware of safety issues and prepare for them ahead of time. Unfortunately for me I don't think it will work on my solo canoe.

    You can wrap around your outboard also. Push the trim up button.
