    Getting in a boat out of the water is way more difficult than getting in the water out of the boat for sure

    I had a rope with loops in it for a while. I tried it one day at the ramp. I found that I rope swung under the boat and I had very little leverage to get back in the boat. I have since installed a transom mounted folding ladder. The important thing from this thread (to me) is that you need to have a plan/way to get back in the boat and be sure it will work for you when/if you fall in. This is especially important if you fish alone.
    Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have a retirement plan...FISHING!
