I have never seen one until I stumbled across this thread. It looks like it will solve my problem/issue with using crappie nibbles in that they fall off easy. I am going to get one.

I know some on here are very familiar with this device but I was a nay sayer about nibblets. Now that I can pump up my jig bodies with nibbles, I have found my hook up percentage has doubled.

    WHo uses one?
I ordered one today, it really looks good.

    Cool

Thinking about ordering one. Looking at em online. But first I have to try some syringes that I have and see if they have enough pressure to do the same thing. I guess I am very frugal. (tightwad)

slipfloater, Good luck! I know the baitpump works. I remember when it was first on here and a bunch of people were doing the same thing as you. I believe a lot of them bought the pump. It WORKS!

my first experience with crappie nibbles was about 7 years ago.

i have a spot i can fish from shore during the crappie spawn that would generally produce sporadically. i would go and hammer them or i would go and catch 1 or 2 over a couple of hours. this was frustrating at times as it was quite a trek to get there. i would use maribou jigs or tube jigs, no other bait really....then in 04, i was fishing not catching anything, when i looked at the jig package and it had a little sample tube of nibbles (not berkley ones but a dough bait nonetheless) and i put it on. immediately i caught a fish. nice slab crappie. put another one on, caught a fish. another and another and another until i had used up all 10 nibbles in the 2 tubes from the 2 packs of jigs i bought. didn't catch another fish.

i've been using nibbles ever since. been a 2 year user of the bait pump.

on maribou jigs i have a jar that i water down and dip them in.

Nibbles are effective, but, it is impossible to inject them into solid body tubes and curly tails, even with a bait pump. Unless this is another of the many secrets that I've missed out on?
