I have to say that after much thought, I can’t have just one. Even my gray ghost shows up with some white or chartreuse in the tail. I also catch a lot of fish on blue ice, and now I dye the tip of those with flourescent yellow spike it. And a real oddball by most folks standards is Bobby Garlands iced tea with lemon. Yellow body and a light brown tail. Whodathunk? Crappie love the yellow body and the gills just love it. Period. Sorry to screw up the thread but that’s my story.

I fish four area lakes and each one is a different favorite color. So I can’t narrow it down to one.

so many folks mention color doesn't matter and to be sure we hit the water daily on lots of area lakes and to be just as sure it for sure matters , some spots they won't touch tried and true colors and combos and it can get ridiculous as to just how choosy they can be about it as well, of course my buds that LS lots can make them bite about any color , but some of us rely on attracting the fish to our jigs the old school traditional ways and there are colors that produce better results in some spots than others.
refrigerator white would likely be my one color/total lack of color, if I carried only one though /maybe ....

Very hard to nail it down to one color but since I caught my first 2# crappie on a pearl white tube jig would probably go with that. Already second guessing myself since it really depends on water clarity. It wouldn't be my first choice in muddy water.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
