Like that new outboard
Well deserved Rickie!
Did you get the EZ glide hydraulic, wheel or handel ? When I bought my Royal stick steer with yamaha 70 I had the wheel version liked the easiness of turning the wheel with the hydraulics but couldn't get myself to like the 280 degree of rotation required ( guessing ) and went back to the regular stick. If EZ glide or anyone ever comes out with hydraulics with same rotation of regular stick I would jump on it quick. Scott
Very nice. Congrats on retirement
Man what a retirement gift. When I retired a year ago, I just went and bought me a new boat.
Congrats :cheers2keep us posted on the progress.
I have decided on the Ezy Glide hydraulic wheel. Seems the helm is the same for all three models of handle types (although the handle does require an additional bezel that the wheel or sail boat ships wheel does not) ...
I agree I’m concerned the 2.8 lock to lock will be different than my current stick steer ~1.0 lock to lock … so we shall see ...
Rickie
Very cool, better fuel economy for sure and better usability. what is the weight difference between the two? I think you are spending wisely, and being environmentally responsible, congratulations on retirement and enjoy your fishing time.
