Default Has anybody had their Terrova pedal go crazy?

Mine did twice yesterday& started turning around until
it about pulled the wires out of the frame. I unhooked it & it operated fine the rest of the day. I called Johnson outdoors & told them & they’re sending a new one & a return shipping label to send the old one back. Hopefully the new one doesn’t do the same thing. Even though I have a remote I still like using the foot pedal sometimes. The lady that helped me said she’d never received a call about it happening so hopefully it was just a fluke. Anyway their taking care of it.

    Yes sir
The pedal got wet and the moisture had my TM head continuously spinning. I turned power switch off and flipped over the pedal to dry some and it stopped when I went to use it again. It’s done it twice on me and both were from the pedal being really wet.

I’m considering that myself. I do like the lights when spotlocked or on auto pilot though since I only have the micro remote. After unhooking the pedal yesterday I’d hit the spotlock button & would already be or I’d hit the button to start the prop & turn it off because I couldn’t hear the motor running as slow as it was running. I guess I can learn though. Lol

Only used the pedal twice. When I am in practice I can use the remote without looking at it

I use the remote exclusively. I do like the lights on the pedal. I have often thought of installing some LED lights on the head.

I’d like to come up with a way to put a directional indicator on it. I drilled a hole in an old trolling motor & glued a piece of an old red lens in it & it worked great for that.

Buy some florescent safety tape, Amazon has it. It's used to mark fire exits, rails, etc. Shows really well in sun, glows at night. Put some on the front of the head or make an arrow point to show direction at a glance.
