I'm a lifelong NC resident and typically say puh-Cahn, stress on last syllable. or like my wife Pee-cahn, stress on first syllable. Her sister says Pee-Can, neither syllable stressed. So that's actually 3 pronunciations! My Dad used to say the same thing, a Pee-Can is something you pee into!
