I would definitely agree, the water is a month late in getting to temperature, the water is nearing flood stage, last year's spawning areas are now 16 feet deep, brush has grown up for several years where the new beds are likely to be. All factors that are going to make this years fishing vastly different from last year, and the lake will likely close for two weeks if it reaches two feet over full. It is looking like swamp tactics with the waders on may be the only option for the next full moon. Waiting for sunshine and water temperature, everything is going to happen soon.

Two different trips, one in my boat, and the more productive one on foot.

You’re getting some nice ones, no doubt!! The guy in the mask didn’t go this last trip?

I went Saturday morning and had to work for mine too, and no biguns in the bunch.

It's supposed to rain again tomorrow, weather guesser says 100% but the temps are coming up a bit. Wednesday is sunny and 70 they said too. Momma got her license this year and is choppin at the bit to go, so it looks like we'll go out Wednesday and wet a line. Hoping to get at least a couple...Then more rain everyday through the weekend.

I know what you mean, I am not used to fishing around so many storms here. Good luck to both of you when the sun comes out Wednesday.
