    daylight hours are more important in many cases than the actual water temps.
    especially with black crappie , they seem lots less worried about water temps in the spring fling thing
    one thing for certain once it hit the 60 range here all the local species became much more active
    shad are for no longer stumbling around , they were flickering and jumping like crazy that afternoon all over the lake
