Default Which Livescope Transducer - LS32 or LS34?

Most people running Livescope are probably using the original LS32 transducer. So am I right now but I do have a LS34 to put on. I know several pro anglers that have tried them for crappie and have went back to there 32"s. I will still try mine. They say that they help out at casting distances better but not necessarily up close at jigging distances. I hear that they will display a stakebed or brushpile a little better.
What are your opinions and which transducer do you folks like better?

I like the 34 better, but everything you said is true.I like how you can see better/clearer farther out.We installed 2 livescopes on a boat last weekend,32 and a 34 both on the trolling motor. We put the 34 on the barrel and the 32 on the shaft.Guy wanted us to go to the water and set everything up also, both performed great.Guy was planning on using his 34 when looking way out and changing over to the 32 when close up.Heres a few pics of the install at performance fishing electronics ,we are also a site sponsor.Name: Screenshot_20230301-165529_Gallery.jpg

Good setup. I also heard there is a slight delay in the 34.

Yep,have a buddy that has 2 units one running the 32 and one running the 34.He said you would never know it until you see them side by side. Not enough of a delay to really matter though.

My son, Jeff Larch, says that the lag is due to so much more information being processed. He runs 24 volts on his black boxes and he says it makes a noticeable difference on the lag. The GPS Map units can handle 24 volts but the touchscreen units he runs now can only handle 12 volts. Check this out as I'm not 100% sure this is the way he told me it works.
Even with my 32 and a 1222 GPS Map unit I notice some lag sometimes. He tells me I need to run 24 volts on my whole system but I'm just not ready to buy another 100 AH Lithium battery just yet. I did install a 2 bank NOCO Lithium onboard charger in case I ever did.
