    have seen it blow from every direction and be not so good and also seen the reverse pattern as well.
    the cows laying down thing holds some value when hunting for sure though from what I have seen .
    sometimes it is just a mindset, thinking you won't ketch fish might cause you to not ketch fish ...this is fact ....

    From my experience, south wind before a front is the best bite as long as water levels are stable or rising slightly.
    North and east wind the day after a front with high pressure the bite goes way down. But there are exceptions…
    Rising water during the spawn they will still
    Bite no matter wind direction
