    Default Help

Put my boat in today to check my livescope, and couldn’t find my jigs, so I piddled around and found out my transducer was looking under the boat on the starboard side, I mounted it exactly like the directions said, the i turned it around and everything looks good, but when I went to pick up my trolling motor it got in a bind because the foot controls were one way or the other up or down, so I need to put the transducer back on the other side but I cannot figure out how to get it pointed in the right direction.HELP

I'm not sure about LS but there's a setting in the menu to allow you to reverse side imaging depending if you mount it on the back of the boat or the TM.

Bud I have installed numerous LS Transducers and all of them had a specific position depending on which side of the trolling motor shaft it is mounted on. A left or right sticker goes on corresponding to which side too for aligning the beams for Forward or Down looking. I have not sold or installed any of the Plus Transducers so if you have that one this may not apply. I do know you have to follow the instructions perfectly for it to work perfectly.

If it's mounted on the left side of the trolling motor shaft and the top of the transducer is level with the trolling motor "motor/prop" then it should be pointing forward in the same direction as the trolling motor is pointed. If you tilt it back one click, it shows more forward and up towards the surface & less under the boat ... vice versa if you tilt it forward one click.

    Hey Danny
Have you gone thru the calibration process?
You can call me if you want.
Too much to ask and say for me to type.

I'd say it's on forward ... I don't have anything set on auto that I know of. I'm still using it as it came -- no updates done. I only know about putting the transducer on the left side of the TM shaft, because first time out I had it on the right side & quickly realized I was reading what was behind me & under the boat, even though the TM was pointing forward.

I have mine pole mounted & once a bolt came out while driving t the lake. I put the transducer back on at the ramp & went down river then found out i was seeing behind me. Redone the mounting when i got home because i had it one click down which was causing me to be in down mode & looking backwards when i pointed it at something.
