    Default Project boat.

Kinda a barn rescue. Old boat needs some TLC. Seems very solid. And surprise, surprise, starts and runs, good compression too. Seems very very solid, transom and everything.

Remote controls need new cables, and a couple little things too before she'll be ready for the water. Plus of course standard maintenance, lower unit oil, pump impeller, plugs...

Should be fun. Might have a travel boat.

It's an 1987, yes, 36 year Bayliner. Pre Brunswick, yay! A Bass Striker with an 85hp Force engine (Chrysler).

Sounds great running. Might be cool. Needs a windshield. Can't believe the carpet is still good after 36 years! Anyone have one like this, or any experiences with one?

Welcome to my world. I like to restore and repair the older boats to fish out of. I figure you have seen my post on the latest build I have been working on the last 3 years. The boat you picked up has a nice deck layout for a crappie angler. I think you will enjoy it.........

Yes, it's mine. Impulse buy. Drove it over three hours home and shocked the wheels didn't fall off. Had not been used for a while, but the guy selling it was super nice and informative over the phone so I took the chance. With the compression checking out it's already a better deal than I thought it was gonna be.
