    This is exactly what I do. If your gonna go all braid wrap a few layers of electrical tape around your spool to avoid the braid from slipping around the spool.

    I used Sienna's for years. Good reel. Braid is an absolute nightmare for beginners. I will constantly be wrapped around the tip of the rod.
