106 sv ultra and livescope question

If I buy a 30ah lithium battery is it safe to hook my 106 sv ultra to it also.. hooking them both to the same battery, I know that the battery creates more than 12 volts, but will it hurt the unit with too many volts. I know it will not hurt the black box, but only worried about the 106sv unit.

I run both the black box and 106 off a 30ah amped battery. No problems at all

Should be alright.
Combined they will draw approx 5AH.
Might only give you about 6 hours of continuous run time.
54AH would be the smallest I personally would go with.

It will work great....I have a 106 ultra plus Livescope with a 30 amp lithium and it works really well.

I run the same setup with cheap 30 amp. It runs all day with plenty of power left.

what kind of battery was it, if it will run all day, it just as good as a name brand.

My Amped 48AH runs my LS box and 12" Ultra for 2 days of fishing with some power left. Pricey but worth every penny!
