I use a "Golden Rule" measuring board, because that's what the F&W guys use when they have to measure a suspicious fish. I don't do tournaments, but if I did ... I'd find out what type of board they used for measuring and get one of those.
I know I am not the greatest yet but for those that participate in tournaments, what bump board do you recommend?
My current one won't work as the minimum is 10" by the manufacturer but I etched 8" and 9". 8" was the minimum in SC and 9" here in AL. One day would like to get good and participate in tournaments. The Crank4Bank tournament is coming up in a few months and Ketch Products has a 15% discount measuring board.
Ketch Products is offering a 15% discount to all registered anglers on the purchase of a Ketch Measuring board, use code Crank4Bank15 when you order your board from KETCH PRODUCTS
Kind of expensive but accurate. One day would like to get good and participate in tournaments.
I probably will participate in the tournament and mine won't qualify. So what do you recommend?
Thanks!

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
Hagen's Hawg Trough. Although it was a 60-70% lower in price a decade ago.
Golden rule will work fine

Second the Hagen Hawg Trough. If you glue 1/2 round foam weather stripping in the channels on the back of the board, it will float. I don't fish tournaments any more, but bump boards are nice to have to confirm size of your catch.
I had a Golden Rule, but it went overboard in 40+ feet of water on Jordan Lake. They don't swim well...at all.
