    Default The Crappie Tackle frenzy

Most here realize about all of our crappie rods come from China, a few years ago when some folks were developing their rods and selling them, it occurred to me that I should buy me about 100 or 200 myself to sell to the masses, good ones can be had in bulk really cheap.
They will put whatever you want on them basically and the sky is the limit on the entire thing, colors ,logos , guides, rod blanks, handles and etc etc etc ....
The ones that really interested me were in a blue camo and 7 footers , could have had them at my door for in the 10 dollar range.
Heck the plain jane ready to go versions even cheaper at around 5 each, those retail for around 50 here right now , So keep this in mind when you get all Tackle frenzy crazy, them there "special" rods everyone says are this and that were likely had for some kinda of nearly nothing price tag before they hit your hand after some fairly serious deviation in your wallet thickness .
Not downing any brand in particular and or giving advice on what is the best or anything like that for sure, but to be just as sure that rod you dropped some serious change on surely didnt arrive in the USA anywhere near the price tag you paid for it .
shop like you mean it and pay little attention to the who what and where on that logo and that rod is my suggestion , just a quick fyi

So what you’re saying is just because you pay more doesn’t necessarily mean you get mor? Buy a rod that feels good in your hand and go fish

Here I thought Crappie Tackle Frenzy was going to be about the playoffs today and poor coaching or officiating! I do agree though, buying online is a crap shoot, get it in your hand first if you can.

Ketchn I think you need to get some of those rods you’re talking about. I’d be glad to pay you $10 for it

The Asian community loves to go squid ketchn , let me say this about that , a nice squid rod from ali baba is pretty much just a nice crappie rod . My intention was to sell the ones I got at double what they cost me , wasn't trying to make big money or a name for myself or anything like the market does , just wanted to have a good time and some laughs.
Sides all that double what you paid will likely make you money anyway if you don't pay the shipping for sure . Wanted to sell them for about 20 and put nice rods in folks hands that maybe couldnt swing high end rod expenses .

like most stuff these days , just because it cost lots don't mean its better , lots of times you are just paying for the branded name on the tackle and or whatever it is they are peddling....
