    Default Banana on board

What is the craziest things you have caught a Crappie on ? I heard about people using all kinds of junk like piece of a plastic bag. I repeated a stunt I have done several times . Caught a Crappie on a bare unpainted jig head . Then cut off a chunk of Banana Peel and put it on a jig head . Caught 2 real quick . Wanted to dispel the Banana on a boat bad luck myth . Livescope shows it more about presentation than the bait.

Used to do very well on string cheese on small jig heads. For some reason we would run out of bait quickly though

Learned this by accident when I was a kid.
The eyeball from a fish you caught will catch fish.
I foul hooked one and the eyeball got stuck on the hook. The fish were biting good and I had trouble getting it off so I threw it out and kept catching.
