    Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

    I'm using the 4lb mr crappie camo line. I'm reticent to use a split shot, as they're plainly more visible to the fish, and my thinking is that if they're skittish, it might make a difference.

    Yes FC….the 2# test Varivas Blue Moon FC is the ideal line for that. But I have trouble seeing it now. So I use the ES2 Ester Lemoni in 2.3# test. While polyester line can have some manageability issues I love the stuff and it sinks. Plus it is easy for me to see.
