    Default Livescope and aluminum boat

Are there any issues installing/using Livescope (or other similar system) on an aluminum boat

As one mullins to another I haven’t yet and seen lots of YouTube on them. I just got one on my pro17 and have diy mount and no issue the one time out. Only issue I had was a lot of sway like a bobber up and down but I believe that is the mount to the boat.

No issues here…I’ve got a 1436 flat bottom jon. Had the scope on it for about 2 years now

Nope. Just attach mount securely and you're good to go.

Here is my FS rail mount. I padded the underside with flex seal tape to protect the rail and gunnel.
