this is the one I use as 7" usually good for Crappie but they also have a 9" work lots better than the bubba blades for me on crappie, they are like using a chain saw to fillet fish.

I have used mister twister for years and years. First one lasted a long long time and cleaned thousands of fish. 2nd didn’t last near as long. Gears stripped out. Number 3-5 can’t remember. We are talking about a 30-40 year time period or whenever mister twister came out.
I have a Rapala and like it ok but not the blades.
I buy every Carving knife I find at yard sales and flea markets. Have several of those too. I bought a Bubba when they first came out Hoping they were All That but took it back after seeing the blades and kicking myself for buying a 125 dollar filet knife.
I wish I knew how to sharpen the mister twister blades because I probably have a half of a dozen sets.
Replacement blades are like 14 bucks and entire knife with blades are 29 or something like that.
Does anyone know if the mister twister blades can be sharpened?
Thanks
Chuck.

I use a diamond sharpener like this to sharpen serrated knives.

I absolutely love my cordless bubba that I have
no issues at all zip right through crappie/gills with no problem .
just have to pay attention to the angle mine is so sharp I have cut right through several back bones. I have used it for over 2 years with great success it may fail me the next time but I have gotten my money worth out of . The handle is on the big side but I have huge hands so not a issue for me . Have cleaned 50-75 fish on the same battery no issues.
I'm looking at the AA Pro, tried asking them online what the difference was between the pro and the pro titanium knife, they haven't responded. Talked to a girl on the phone and I'm not sure she knows. She talked like it was only the color and it came with a titanium blade. That doesn't explain the 20 dollar price difference because the difference in price of the blades is only 4 dollars and she had no answer for that. I don't know if they are overwhelmed by the recall and don't have time to reply, but am wondering if I should reconsider. My next choice is the Rapala R12 cordless if the AA doesn't pan out.
Does anybody know if there is difference between the two, materials, bearings, motors???
Does the Rapala R12 run hot? It was a question asked on Amazon if running hot was normal and the only response was Yes. No one refuted it, but then again, it's on Amazon and who knows if the responder is truthful or works for a competitor.
Is the AA shark blade a direct fit in the Rapala or is there a modification that has to be made?
I have the r12 and it does not run hot.
Upgraded from the Mr twister...

Thanks ecoast, that makes me feel better.
I saw the price of the R12 on Amazon drop from $140 yesterday morning to $126 last night, so I ordered it.
It's an upgrade from Black and Decker.

I recently got the Bubbba . No problem with the original blades. It does seem to run slower but cleans as fast on crappie as my corded Rapala.
I was also impressed with the job it did on some speckled trout.
