Thanksgiving is SO cool

We visit with family, we talk about back when, we remember people in our families almost forgotten and then .....
My sweet as pumpkin pie aunt tells us about when she was much younger and how her mom , my grandmother had to read the letter sent from Italy to the US because my grandparents wanted full assimilation into the US and allowed none of us to speak our native language.
Now why might you ask is any of this noteworthy ?
The letter was from her second cousin....
