In the near future I fully expect there to be 2 spot lock motors on a boat that will prevent that….one up front and one on the stern. That’s not that hard to do tech wise and am frankly surprised they don’t already have it. I know I would certainly buy that setup, and I’m sure many other folks would also. I spent 40 years in the missile field….lost count of months of schooling I went to just to stay current with the state of the art. As each year went by I watched in amazement as to what the advances were. The tech knowledge base is growing at a huge rate for sure.

    Regards

I had considered building a stern thruster. To control the boat while shooting docks

Some day they will have a boat that hoovers above the water. A force field will keep the wind off it so it stays in place. And then there is the transporter.

    I will not buy it.

Just like anglers using a live scope...looks like they are are watching the boob tube with thier faces glued to the screen.

I don't want one or need one.

I will keep fishing the way I always have with regular sonar and I will keep catching fish.

    To each his own.

Me being pretty much a newbie at crappie fishing can say without a doubt that livescope & spotlock have definitely helped me catch more fish. Being able to sit pretty much in one spot in the distance & pitch to brush piles is something i'm liking for sure. My buddy is an experienced crappie fishermen & he's sure liking it too. I figure the enjoyment is really what it's all about.
