    Default Low Water, S-L-O-W Fishing!

Our lake level is down about 6 feet from full pond and the water temperature is around 66F. The fishing has been TERRIBLY slow for weeks. We can find a few fish from time to time, but getting them to hit is tough. We have most of our luck either casting and counting down to where the fish are, usually around 18 feet deep, or else fishing around and under docks. There is a log of "stick ups" in the water, flooded trees that are usually under water, but fishing around them hasn't yielded much results. I will take all the suggestions I can get about jig patterns, colors, tactics, places to try, etc. HELP!!!

Sit tight on channel edges and fish close and SLOWLY on the flat above and the drop
Sit off the ledge and pitch up onto the flat , slow roll it to the edge close to the bottom and let the jig drop on the drop off
Needs to have baitfish in the mix , bait should be easy to find
The crappie will cruise the edge
Set your graph to chirp and listen, multiple chirps is key ...
Or LS them if you got it
10 foot deep flats and quick drop offs 15 to 20 foot deep
    Luck to ya

1/16 natural colors with silver flakes on 6 lb test mono for clearer waters
If the water is turbid pitch orange
If all else fails pitch black or dark blue
Tip jig with Berkeley glo white crappie nibbles
Hope you ketch your new pb,,,

Jack it happens every year. It goes from 50,000 acres to 35,000.
