Default Big baits = Big fish

    Whatever
Pitched that DC 10 ( 2 plus inches long handtie 1/8)
2 lil potato chips hit that big rig ….
    Then totally nothing …..
Went to a mustang fighter ( 1 inch some a dat split tail on a 1/32 red hook )
and fixed that problem right quickly
Fall Big fish don’t ALWAYS bite Big jigs …
It is what it is and …….
    KABOOM is the word

Above average for these parts , likely pushing 2 lbs and the lake record is only a skinny hair over 2 lbs .
Sure did fight hard on light tackle and lost its mind when it got set free , hit the water wrong side up and ran off upside down with its belly out of the water for about 25 feet across the surface , made me smile to see such vigor in a crappie
