    Default The Fall Spawn ?

Experts mostly agree it isn't a thing , then along comes mister no clue and asks then WHY is this male fish sporting what appears to be spawn coloration ?
I don't see any egg ripe females in the pack , but none the less , what is up is my question

All I see is a great couple of meals …. . I see the color differential though.

    Great mess of fish there.

I have no idea about the spawn. I was listening to a Crappie Connection podcast yesterday which featured a biologist for the state of Oklahoma. I’m certain he stated the average spawn depth was 14’. I was driving at the time and didn’t rewind it.
