A lot of people have started using Norfin but I haven’t looked into them myself. I believe the company started with ice fishing and has expanded.

yep , there is an amount of wet that is enough for me as well, have to be really mad at them to try and ketch in the rain, of course one of the biggest crappie I ever had hit my hand was in a 40 degree , misting rain and even though it was miserable to be there , that 18 inch plus a bit of change crappie made me totally oblivious to the elements for a few minutes.....
another visit to another spot was much the same , but it was really pouring down rain and the fish were on fire and a close to 3 hit my hand that visit as well, same result for a few minutes , never even knew it was cold and raining that time either
both visits had me in some kind of rain "resistant" jacket and it wasn't much after about 5 minutes in the raining outdoors dept., seams went first and then the canvas shell quit repelling too ...

Simms challenger bibs and jacket are really good and just add a layer underneath if it’s cold. The simms CX is the next step up from the challenger and these are a bit lighter. Can’t beat the simms stuff

I mean if you have spare cash - that's for sure. Simms are the at the higher part of the curve, where you're paying twice the money for 10% increase in quality(that doesn't take away from how great the product is, I've got myself fishing bibs and jacket from them once those were on huge sale at one point, still using 'em 3 years later )
