No there is not. I am trying to decide on a new boat. Since moving to Arkansas most of my fishing will be on the Little Red River for trout. A Supreme 16 foot trout boat with jet drive would do me well…but I want to fish for panfish in some lakes around me….including Greers Ferry. That Supreme trout boat ain’t worth a darn for that. Will probably have to get one built that can do both……but if I do I have to realize that while the boat may work for both types of fishing it will not be ideal for either. Many friends say I need 2 boats…if I was wealthy I would do that…but I ain’t wealthy. Some say forget the panfishing and just concentrate on trout fishing. Well I’m not willing to do that either. So I’ve got a lot of research to do the next few months.

    Regards

    169 SS - Royal boats L.L.C.
I have the above royal with a 70 hp yamaha 4 stroke. Love, love my boat. I've fished a lot of stick steers not the one you mentioned but I have no complaints with mine. Rock steady in the boat 100% composite hull that will never rot. Pricey yes but you get what you pay for. IMHO Scott

I was impressed with your rig and it had an influence in my decision to go the direction I went. I have no doubt your next one will be equally impressive.

I have a 18/60 XTREME it's as stable as they come. Have fished all of them, 48" , 54" and 60". If someone walks on the outer edges in the back it will tilt. But so will a 20ft ranger. My buddy's 54 bottom is just as stable as my 60". The safety of the stick boat for not have to get up is priceless to me. It is a rough Ride at times. Hydraulic stearing is a must for me.

Alpha, I went from a bass boat to a Carolina skiff that I hated ( not a center console guy,) to a scruffy 16’ Jon and when it went sick, I bought another 16’ Jon but this one much nicer and electric start. For where I fish and where I live, this is as versatile a boat as I can figure out. An 1860 would have been a bit better but the deal on this one was too sweet to pass on. I hope you find something you’ll be comfortable in.
