They were talking last night on SK show about that pearl white being fire right now. Good pics Ketchn. Thanks for sharing.
dropped it into a boat slip close to the walkway on Sept. 9th
went to see if it worked out well yesterday
EVERY drop got bit till it was time to go back to work
such is how my lunch break went 2 days of this month
bamboo in a concrete bucket set up like an upside-down umbrella is often about as good as ANYTHING ever invented to help ketch crappie !
Those that promote this and that in the way of different types of cover to place in the water to aide in the removal of crappie from the water, have likely never used a condo made out of "boo" and dropped it into the right location.
the johnny apple seed of ketchn crappie is me ......
just a picking fruit and a grinning , just saying
bait of choice was a pearl colored limits tackle on a 1/16 and it stayed on my line for the last 2 visits to the water , somewhere near a hundred fish later in 2 trips and it still looks like new.
8 foot of water and the bait had to VERY slowly rise from the bottom to get THUMPED around mid water column .....
black and white crappie set up house in the condo btw .....
fish/ketch how you want is my thoughts , but for me and my house ,,,,,
well you know ....
KABOOM is the word ya"ll ....

YOWZER! Sounds like perfect placement.
Bob
you know sir it is one of those things , it is perfect as I type , but many spots I "sweeten" will be good for a few months and then dormant until the next time that location is where they would like to be , seasonal is the word in this case , very few set ups like this remain good year round . most have a time frame they hold numbers of fish .
this one was dropped knowing it will be all that for 2 months in the fall and 2 months in the spring and a few months midsummer after the sunsets. just saying
Think I need to find some Boo around here. My spot down at the bridge is currently dead. After the Magnet hunters have pulled every bit of cover that had been placed, and proceeded to destroy it, "because it was interfering with their magnets", ALL the fish are no longer around. It being a water supply for the city, Game wardens wont step in...So, I'll be looking somewhere else to fish. Fishing reports are very bad for that lake for a bit now...
