Default what is your preferred MONO?

I have 9 spinning rod/reels, they all have different line on them, I was planning on buying one large bulk spool, and use it for everything. I fish for crappie, bream and trout, what does everyone prefer?

    thanks!

If I had a large number of reels that I wanted all the same, and I was looking for bulk line, I would go with Vicious line. I have used it a lot in the past and have never been unhappy with it. I mentioned in another thread a few days ago that I was slowly becoming a Varivas fan boy, but I don't think they do bulk spools.

If you ever try Varivas Twitch Master VLS you won’t want any other nylon mono line.

Tried many brands over the years , Old blue or green Stren is hard to beat for the price . I use 8 lb for Crappie and 14lb for Green Carp (Bass)

I do mostly trolling and mainly used Bass Pro Crappie Maxx Camo Fishing Line but recently picked up Bass Pro Crappie Maxx Hi-Vis Camo Fishing Line and love how visible it is. I run 6 lines out my boat and the hi-vis camo makes easy work of seeing the lines to not tangle them. I run 8 lbs. The Hi-Vis camo is High-vis orange, high-vis yellow, then clear in that order about every 3 feet (1 foot per color). Crappie don't seem to care about my line. If they start then Ill just tie it on the clear part of the lines. can get 8lb test at 1690 yards for $9. The only brand that I would possibly change to is the slime line super stretch. I might try it if I start tight lining with that 30% stretch.

Buy Trilene XL bulk off Ebay. To ea His own, I wouldn’t spool up BassPro house brand line if you gave it to me. Jus sayn
