I wear sandels to get across the gravel. Fish barefooted to feel the buttons better. Wear plenty of sunscreen though!

Like Clint posted, the Shimano Evair fishing shoes are comfortable, easy on/off for when ya don’t want shoes on in the boat and nonslip in marine conditions.

I typically stand most of the time on guide trips or fun trips. If I don’t have some good arch support, I suffer that night.

I used to wear Crocs. Too hot for me. I get my feet wet at the ramp launching and taking boat out. I bought some Sperry boat shoes (not the leather) with drain ports...designed for water use. Nevertheless, after I got home last night from day on the lake, they smelled like Satan's *** hole. I really like the shoes, hate the smell. Going to cover them with baking soda today.

That doesn't sound like a smell I would want on the boat... or in the truck... or at the house.
