Have not been around in a while but I had to share this little story. I lost a fish at the surface as my line broke. Tied on again dropped down and well I will let the picture tell the rest of the story. Never before has this happened for me.

never had that happen, but I have caught a lot of trout powerbait fishing that had flies broke off in their mouth LOL

managed to ketch one one day with both my tandems in its mouth , never seen that before , have seen H rip one that broke me off within a minute or less a few years ago and it spit my jig out of it's mouth when he landed it .crappie are not all that smart in most cases and especially dumb when they are in hungry mode .

Always wondered after one was turned loose or got off at the top of the water, how long it was before they bit again. Well I guess you just answered that question. Good job.
