My prayers continue. Also praying for the comfort of the entire family. Close families are always deeply affected at times like this. It’s never easy and I pray for everyone’s comfort.

Thank you all so much for the prayers. It means more than my words can express. We serve an awesome God who can work miracles. I appreciate every one of you who has prayed for my dad and my family. God bless you all.
My dad met with oncologist earlier this week and it was confirmed as Stage IV Renal Cell Carcinoma (kidney cancer). Next week he is scheduled to go in for CAT scan, brain scan and some other diagnostic tests to see if and where the cancer has spread to. We won’t know the results of those tests until the following week (August 8-12) because doctor is out of town on vacation this coming week when he gets the scans done.
I continue to pray and lean on our mighty Father in Heaven. I will let our prayer warriors know when we get the results back. On a positive note, my dad is making the best of his time now, he’s been flying his airplane and fishing when his energy levels permit. Today, he fried up some fish he caught yesterday morning with a family friend. As soon as my sternum heals a little more from heart surgery I’ll be out there slinging slabs with him while I can.
Thank you all, my crappie.com family and brothers in Christ.
God Bless,
Richard Copeland
