A fine looking catch of fish, Ketchn! We have some wicked heat up our way, but not like you folks!

I have been fishing in this microwave but I hit the lake a sun up and I am only my way home by 11 am. Middle of the day fishing is too brutal for me this time of the year.

Man ketchn. If I didn't know better, I'd say you could Ketch crappie in the middle of the desert where they still waitin' on the lake to be built.....Them some beauties for sure. Thanks for that ride along...

yeppers passed on a boat ride yesterday late in the day , just past stupid hot outside by a few miles , kind of overwhelms you right when you step out of the ac , never even paid any attention to what it said it was outside , just knew it was past my limit for sure .
love me some quick am action though , was pretty pleasant the other day first light ....comparatively speaking of course

Boat rides in the heat are not much fun at all in my book

not at that spot , not a place to hide from the sun on that lake , it is brutal quickly when the sun is high in the sky this time of year out there .....

I made it till the heat index hit 110. Then I waved the white flag and stayed home, watching people on youtube catching them and dreaming I was in the boat with them.

Texas is giving me a roasting as well, telling me to hurry up and leave.

It can be very frustrating fishing with Ketchn. I can throw a jig into a spot a dozen time and not get a bite, let alone a crappie. He steps over, throws his jig in the same spot and pulls out the biggest crappie of the day in his first cast to the spot.
