Ketch'n, you're right about lure design - especially when it comes to tails. The photo shown was of someone else's lure - Mr. Twister - and didn't indicate tail attachment thickness. Grub size is supposed to be with curl tail closed - not extended like they claimed from a contact source on Amazon. Most likely these lures were massed produced in China which accounts for the 2-3 weeks getting them. Strange also is not having an on-line photo color chart of the more than 2 doz. colors advertised. Also strange, there was no email address on the company's site to contact them. If the order in June had been confirmed by an e-mail, all of this wouldn't have been necessary.

At least I know what is needed to set up an on-line business if I ever sold my creations. Details and integrity matter - always! Bob (Snake River) knows what I'm taling about.

Mods - I made sure no company name was included in the post. Message - Buyer Beware, not, don't buy from company X. If the post violates forum rules please delete the entire post.

Seems like everyone is making and selling plastics for crappie now. I usually buy from dealers with a good website with address and email on their contact info. The prices are going up a bit, but great baits are still easy to find at reputable vendors. Most of my baits arrive in 5-10 days from purchase. Dealing with CDC vendors surely does help you rest easy.

Personally I try to buy from cdc members and site sponsors. “Help those that help us” as Slab says. Plus they are all known people/companies and sell quality.

Couldn't ask for anything more because reputation matters! Granted, the money blown won't bankrupt me, but a deal that is too good to be true is usually not true.
