live leeches seem hard to find around here, any suggestions on any artificial leeches that work

I'd try a leech pattern fly/jig with Slabsauce, and/or check to see if GULP comes in a leech offering.

i was out shopping today, found some Gulp Leeches, what do you catch on them, hoping to see if Crappie hit them

if you go stand still in some shoreline grass and weeds for a lil while you can pull them off your ankles if you know the right ponds , just saying .....
only place I ever got them on me was in Pa. when I was kid ....
