Quite yellow here , some are big and bright too

That’s interesting. I bought two colors of the mr twister mayfly nymphs to try and so far the yellow has out performed the tan/orange. It is a soft plastic that doesn’t last many fish like a trout magnet, but are cheap and real easy on the wallet.

this is the situation with this fish species quite often , you can be on them like a bandit today and gone tomorrow
sometimes it is within hours , sure keep you guessing and to be just as sure what they want is ONLY what they want in many cases

you are definitely the grand master of fishing from the bank (or dock or boat). if i were to have the chance to fish beside you i would fo sho be paying attention whether i was ketchn or not. i consider myself a pretty good fisherman but nobody is ever so good they can learn something.

kind words no doubt my friend and to be sure we would likely have a good time , one thing for sure though , sometimes crappie will fool even the best of them , seen many times my pro buds have em dialed in from pre fishing for an event ,only to find the day of the tourney something changed ever so slightly and they came in with their tails tucked at weigh in time ....
it is what it is my friend
