i set up a few poles with slip bobber setups the other day, so far this is what i am seeing so far,my set up includes the jig on the end of the line and about 8 inches from the jig is a split shot to help get the jig to the bobber stop. of the 2 types of bobbers i tried the one where the line goes thru the bobber vs the clip on type, i am thinking the bobber where the line goes thru the bobber is less problems with line wrapping around the bobber over the clip on type, any thoughs

Not real sure what your question is .... but, most "slip floats" don't have any "clip-on hardware". Their whole design is to allow the line to slip thru the center of the float, from the weight of the rigging (jig - hook/sinker - jig/sinker) and come to a stop at a predetermined depth that's set by you with the "stopper" you placed on the line above the float.
I'm just having a hard time understanding your reference to the "line wrapping around the bobber" comment.
