Pretty much the way I've always felt, it really don't matter what crappie fisherman do; keep, throw back, big, small, tournament fish, whatever - nature will do what it does and if we think we're helping or hurting we're probably not.

was told many many moons ago by a TPW fisheries biologist that 2 leg predators cant do anything to reduce the population when it comes to crappie , after seeing almost EVERY crappie in some lakes with cormorant bites on them , it has become reality that 2 leggers are NEVER gunna reduce or help the numbers on this particular species for sure .
