Have you tried putting your phone in a bag of raw rice. put the phone in like a zip lock bag, then fill with rice to completely cover the phone, then seal the bag and let it sit a couple days. should dry it out completely...

Dang ! That stinks to sink your phone . I remember a fishing buddy asked if I saw his phone in the boat once . He says call my number and see if it rings . I did and of course it did not ring . I acted like I got an answer . He looked funny when I said a Catfish answered the phone .

You need to start carrying scuba gear along on your fishing trips.

Wow, what a story, hope your phone works. Last time out, two weeks ago, I caught a 5 lb bass while bream fishing, and taking a pic, I got a phone call and, stupid me, I answered it. Somehow, the phone was dropped into the live well. Dang it! I got it out and I could still hear my buddy talking, but very low volume. I quickly said I will call you later. Long story short, I high-tailed it home and put a fan on it overnight and the phone appears to work as it did before. Cheers for the Samsung S9, I am impressed.

Yes I have one in my kayak and bought them also for my buddy and his wife. We feel better knowing our phones are leashed and then handling them in kayak to get a photo.

mine is an old Samsung ao2 , it was put into a zip lock with silica bags as what is said to be the way to go versus rice , 1 day later it did in fact charge up and come on like nothing happened , the problem now is the screen is dead ,,,,,,,
