Unique scaler

Unique to me anyways. Saw a scaler that used a cordless drill with an eggbeater attached to it. Seemed to work well.

Saw one that was home made being pulled around Reelfoot 40 years.
If I remember correctly it was about as big as a 20 gallon drum.
Pretty cool DIY project back then.

I live in race horse country and the local hardware store carries feed and supplies. I spied a little $5 deal sitting on a shelf- Curry Comb. I thought fish scaler. Don’t know why, it just kind of popped in there.

It knocks the slobber off them scales and I mean fast, easy and thorough. I don’t jab myself on the spines as it has a nice handle that keeps my fingers away. Best scaler I have ever used and it will last me a long time. I think you will start eating more whole fish if you get one.
