Default Cinco de Mayo (part 2 )

As mentioned in part 1 , food .....work brought in fajitas and we had at em (to tasty to describe ,so here is an image ) before we skyed out of work early ,to hit my friends ranch lakes and ponds . The day was beautiful and with a full belly it made it just a bit better for sure .We are seeing A LOT of fry in several spots on some of his lakes and ponds . So as you can imagine larger offerings were not my weapon of choice for the most part .
A float was employed to keep said offerings up in the water column because of a huge number of fry by the banks and in some spots the bite was just stupid good . Not a cast would go untouched and the variety of species was pleasing when you set the hook .
The third lake we hit was in a pretty decent red ear formation and I had at them pretty good for a while , a channel cat reared it's ugly head in that spot though and H said it needed to go home with him in the ice chest with 100 crappie we removed from another lake out there.
the hen turkey were really wandering around and totally oblivious to us in our travels to and fro and we even saw 3 big hogs at one point in time that had somewhat of the same thing going on along with the multitudes of deer ,not sure why but no one with legs gave us much attention
The hammer was down for sure and the rods stayed pretty steadily bent over and it was good times for sure , the front that blew thru made it cool and the fish made it hot , simply lovely my dear is the words on this excursion.
    more images please .....

Another one of those days you don’t want to see end. Food looked great as well.
