The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
the foot wear is and has been legendary for a long time , the abuse I put a pair thru back when is not print worthy .
they were 85 a pair back in 2005 and worth every single cent of that and then some ....good stuff
bud told me I "HAD" to have them for a miles and miles and miles adventure in the heavy stuff back when and I thought he was full of it , told me buy them a size big as they are great to wear over the waders , he was totally right

There work shoes are pretty rugged also. I have a pair of tall hikers that are several years old

I can relate. I have lost a Croc shoe
2 different times in the pluff mud in the coastal marsh. The were both stuck about a foot deep and were not coming out, even I tried to pull them out by hand after my foot slid out. Pulled the strap off of one I pulled so hard! Mind you, this was in 2 different years and one was lost in the marsh in SC and one in NC.
Hard to walk out thru saw grass and oysters with one bare foot!
I hate it when a good pair o sandals comes apart like that but after bymo told me about Shoeglue have been able to reuse them for several more years. A good pair that feels great is hard to find and I go down a size and they fit better IMO. I am a "value" shopper fo sho and just can't pay a fortune for a pair o sandals and am particular in how it feels on my feet but then wear them almost always from april thru october.

any sandal type foot cover for me needs toe protection , most of the all terrain hikers come in that design.
my really like them a lot is about how you can go from the trail in the woods to the stream and right back to the woods and dry out pretty quickly .
