Also,,,you ever see thos old war movies where guys always chewed matches? Well there was a reason for this,,,the sulfer fights biting insects,,,of course they actually make sulfer pills now if you can find them,,, supoosively works,,

,also if you hunt a lot and need protection from biting insects like skeeters and chiggers,,, wear nylon undergarment like body armour …keeps those stingers and biters at bay

I have used the skin so soft. It does keep the misquitoes alway. A spray on anti-perspirant helps keep posion ivy, oak, and sumac from getting ya as well. I used to get covered in it while cutting grass and weed eating a piece of lake property the folks had. The deodorant would help seal the pores of your skin so the oil from the plant wouldn't get in. One had to be careful not to overheat. Being in South East Mississippi it was plenty humid yo keep you covered in sweat

Fingernail polish will kill the chigger but the decomposing body will cause infection. White tape is best. About 8 hours after applying the chigger will come to the surface to get air. You can remove the tape and see the little red dot. Burn the little devils with fire.
